Personalised poetry doesn’t have to be complicated. With Play The Poet, there are just three quick steps to follow before your bespoke poem lands in your inbox.
1. Fill Out A Request Form
You can find the poem request form on my Contact Page. If you prefer, you can also get in touch on Facebook or Instagram. When filling out your form, there really is no limit to the detail you can include. Whether you want a specific phrase included somewhere in the poem, need a detailed re-telling of a story or want your description of a person or pet to be bang on the money – as long as you note it down, your wishes will be granted. 2. Answer Additional Questions
Once your request has been submitted, you may be required to answer a few additional questions to make sure your poem is crafted with as much accuracy behind it as possible. You may also need to adjust the desired length of your poem if you have provided too much detail for too few lines (while my writing will aim to accommodate as much as possible, I am by no means claiming that I’m a magician). Once the request is finalised by both parties, no further amends will be taken into account.
3. Process Your Payment – And Voila!
Finally, you will process your payment (pricing details can be found on the request form) and await the finished product. Payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer. The poem will arrive in your inbox within 5 working days unless stated otherwise, and from there you will be permitted to do with it as you wish – it’s your poem, after all. Frame it and give it as a gift, put it in a birthday card, keep it in your wallet or flush it down the toilet. As long as the work is not redistributed commercially, you have complete control.
